NYPD community patrol officers speak at BPCA town hall

June 12, 2018- by Steven E. Greer

On June 6th, the BPCA convened a quarterly town hall meeting. The NYPD had the First Precinct Community Patrol Officers speak.

In response to the rise in violent crime by felons selling bogus Statue of Liberty tickets in the Battery, the NYPD began a foot patrol unit divided into regions above and below West Thames.

The B Unite is below West Thames and handles the serious problems of the violent cons and Pier-A drunkenness. The officers in that unit to call when you see trouble are Adam Riddick (929) 287-6638 and Miles Holman (929) 291-1602.

For the “C” unit, above West Thames, the issue of teen gangs and placard parking abuse are the main issues. Officer Dinah Bodden cell (917) 860-2601 dinah.bodden@nypd.org is the officer to call.

Of note, they NYPD is supposedly thinking of ways to get actual parking garage space for the federal, state, and city undercover cops working in the Vesey Street buildings.
