I recently started to relapse back to my fast and short swing. I was ready to quit, once again, when Arizona pro Steve Dahlby gave me some good advice. He reminded me of the importance of slowing down the swing with practice swings. I also saw Michael Breed on The Golf Channel talk about turning the hips and loading the weight onto the right heel.
I worked on the right heel loading for a few days. Once that became automatic, I focused on the slower bigger swing. For the first time since starting The Golf Project 13-months ago, I feel like I have some control over the long sticks.
