October 17, 2018- CBS reports on a consortium of watchdog groups that published a study on burger chains. They screened burger chains for the effort they made to avoid the problem of antibiotics used to create large cows. Those antibiotics get into the human consumers’ systems and cause microbial resistance to antibiotics needed to cure infections.
Shake Shack and BurgerFi were the only two of 25 chains to get an “A” rating. Shake Shack uses Pat LaFrieda beef, which is the same supplier to top steakhouses.
Aside, BPTV has noticed that some of the management problems Shake Shack suffered after going public are being addressed. Stay tuned.
